New Field Trip Announced: Congaree National Park

Join Carrie Blair on Saturday, February 6 for a guided field trip to Congaree National Park, home to some of the tallest trees in eastern North America and the largest remaining old-growth bottomland hardwood forest in the Southeast.

Together we'll explore this remarkable landscape while learning to identify iconic species such as bald cypress and water tupelo, discover the ecology of floodplain forests, and experience one of the nation's most extraordinary natural treasures.
